The Mocean Scout 12 is a passion project of ours that we helped bring to life with Mocean Kayaks. When Michael and Nancy setout to build their first production model they asked me what I looked for in do it all rec kayak. I shared my thoughts about stats, features, and desgin that made for the perfect 12' entry level kayak. Less than a year later they brought the Scout to market incorperating many of my ideas, but expanding to make it even better than I could have imagined.
